Pediatric Cleaning

It’s important to start taking care of your baby’s teeth as soon as the first one comes in. Preparing a child for a life of dental health is of paramount importance and much of the early work must be done in the home. For toddlers with brand-new teeth, it works well to use a washcloth to wipe the teeth off. Once your child turns one, he or she should begin brushing their teeth twice a day as part of their routine.

At Fort Des Moines Dental, we take the care of a child’s smile with the utmost seriousness. Our staff uses nonthreatening, effective cleaning practices to put a child at ease while accomplishing our shared goals—a clean and healthy mouth.

“I have been coming to Fort Des Moines Dental since I was 16 years old and now I’m 67 years old. I’ve been through three dentists and each one has been great. The dental assistants have done a good job and all were very friendly. I would recommend the clinic to anyone needing dental care.”
